Jupiler Pro League

Belgium

About the League

The Jupiler Pro League is Belgium's top flight, founded in 1895 and expanded to 18 clubs for 2026-27, with a regular season followed by title and European play-offs. Club Brugge are the reigning champions; Anderlecht hold the record with 34 titles.

The Jupiler Pro League is the top division of Belgian football and one of the oldest national championships anywhere in the world, first contested in 1895 under the Royal Belgian Football Association. More than a century later it remains a league with an outsized reputation, admired across Europe as a proving ground where young players arrive, develop quickly and move on to the biggest clubs on the continent. The competition expanded to 18 clubs for the 2026-27 season, having previously run with 16. The season is split into a long regular phase followed by a play-off stage in which the leading clubs contest the championship and the European places, a format that keeps the title race alive deep into spring. The Belgian champions enter the UEFA Champions League league phase, with further Champions League, Europa League and Conference League places decided beneath them, while the clubs at the foot of the table face relegation to the Challenger Pro League. Club Brugge took the 2025-26 title, their 20th Belgian championship. Anderlecht remain the record holders with 34, a total built partly on five consecutive titles in the 1960s. Alongside those two, Standard Liege, Genk, Gent, Antwerp, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Cercle Brugge, KV Mechelen, Charleroi, Westerlo, Sint-Truiden and Leuven give the division a genuinely national spread across Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels. OneLightScore carries the Jupiler Pro League in full, with live scores from every match, complete fixture lists, results, the current standings including the European qualification and relegation zones, top scorer and assist charts, and where-to-watch information for each round, so Belgian football can be followed from the first weekend of the regular season through to the closing play-off matches.
