Personal terms are already in place, with the player set to sign a five-year contract with an option for a further year at Old Trafford.

While a medical has been scheduled to finalize the move, it is noted that Baleba is currently managing a minor ankle knock. However, the United medical team is satisfied with the situation as testing approaches. The deal is not yet officially complete.
