Richarlison left out of Tottenham Premier League squad as Forest vs Spurs live looms

Richarlison left off Tottenham’s 25-man list

Richarlison is not in Tottenham Hotspur’s registered 25-man Premier League squad. That is now official, not a rumour thread.

Sky Sports News carried Roberto De Zerbi discussing the omission. Fabrizio Romano then reported De Zerbi’s confirmation that the Brazil forward did not accept an Everton proposal before the window closed. “I don’t know if there is an offer from Turkey… but I know there was an offer before the end of the transfer market but he did not accept that offer,” De Zerbi said. “For me nothing changes.”

The timing matters for Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham. Tottenham travel with a squad that cannot call on Richarlison in the Premier League this season unless a later registration change is permitted. That is locked team news, not a late fitness call.

What the omission actually is

Premier League clubs submit a 25-man list of over-age players after the window. Players left off that list cannot be selected in league fixtures. De Zerbi’s remarks, amplified by Sky Sports News and Romano, place Richarlison in that category after he rejected a move to Everton.

Jay Bothroyd, speaking on Sky Sports News, framed the next step as a player with limited domestic options until January. That is a market fact, not a prediction about Forest vs Spurs. The on-pitch consequence for today is simpler: Tottenham’s attacking options on the team sheet will not include him.

Forest vs Tottenham is one of the main Premier League fixtures today, and this registration decision is the hard team news behind it.
